Ibises coming in to roost on Bird Island: Christmas evening

 

Many of the ibises hang out in a nearby lawn

As it gets dark these birds fly over to the island for the night

Royal Tern and a preening young Brown Pelican

Laughing Gulls the only gull that nests in our state

Redheads in Tierra BVerde South Pond: 12-24-20

 

After roosting in the Tierra Verde Ponds overnight, they will head out into Tampa Bay to feed.
