The old pump house which was used back in the day when the thought was to drain the lake (18 miles long and 6 miles wide!) for agricultural purposes.  Needless to say this was a failed endeavor.

No success in the pond so he heads into the jasmine to look for lizards

Looks like he spies one

 

 

Neck swaying is thought to possibly be a way to entice movements in the prey.

He stabs the lizard and tries to remove it from the jasmine.

He begins to swallow the lizard

On its way into the stomach

He then walked to the pool for a drink and to clean his bill.
