Pectoral slap
The sound when this 15 foot fin smashes into the water can be heard on the surface from over a mile away and from much farther away underwater.
The large "foot print" made underwater with the tail as the whale dives.
The whales can exchange 90% of the air in their lungs in 3 seconds.
