Yard Encounter: GBH vs Black Snake (4-10-19)





Great Blue Herons are our largest herons










The GBH took the snake to one of our ponds to wet it and then swallowed it.






Preening






Preening went on for over an hour.





All totaled, this GBH spent over 7 hours in our back yard this day.
