When the babies are this big and so hungry, each time the adults bring food items to them they typically spend less than 3 seconds at the gourd before they’re off again to get more insects.
As the babies and their appetites continue to grow, both parents have a full time job keeping the babies fed
Bigger insects are now chosen by the parents as the chicks are now big enough to handle them
