 Why we fled Chincoteague Island on 10-3-22 before the causeway was flooded from bands from Ian and no one could leave the island

We drove 45 minutes to get to the wildlife drive at this refuge only to find that it was closed due to a deer hunt in progress even though on line it was listed as open.  Grrr!
