Looking for salmon but it was too early. The salmon hadn’t hit fresh water in any significant numbers yet.
These bears have been subsisting on grass and sedge waiting for the berries and the salmon to arrive.
Scratch that itch!
And a handsome Mink showed up as we were watching the bears.
