Black Vultures
They are shorter-winged and heavier than Turkey Vultures.
Since they are more restricted to warmer climates where they can reliably find rising thermals for soaring, they don’t migrate as far north as Turkey Vultures.
These New World vultures (BlackVultures, Turkey Vultures, California Condors) are actually modified storks
