Adult on nest with eggs
Things just weren’t quite right so
she rearranged several of the sticks in the nest and turned the eggs
After rearranging the nest she was satisfied and settled back down to the business at hand, incubating the eggs.
The above nest was the only Tricolored Heron nest we saw and was later than the other pairs who already had chicks
