Skyway Bridge across Tampa Bay
Sandwich Terns were feeding next to the Bay Pier
There were huge schools of baitfish, primarily anchovies
Acrobatic Least Terns were also enjoying the buffet
Snowy Egrets were feeding more passively
Great Egrets were feeding much more passively while looking for an easy meal
Laughing Gulls were trying to steal fish from the hard-working juvenile Brown Pelicans
The Dog Beach just west of the Pier was packed
Great Egret moving from the Pier to the beach
Male Brown-headed Cowbird
was hanging around the picnic tables looking for an easy meal
Common Ground Dove on the seawall
On our way to the island a small flock of White Ibises was ahead of us over these sail boats
Brown Pelican in the clouds
