Fish Crows in St. Pete

Fish Crows chasing each other

These crows build a new nest for each breeding attempt.

The nests are well-made, and one small area may have existing nests from up to four different years.

They appear to be more resistant to West Nile Virus than the American Crow.

One of the collective nouns used to describe a group of crows is a "cauldron."

One in our oak tree eating not a natural prey item.  It’s not anything we have around so no telling where it came from.
