Fort Morgan Historical Park, AL: 4-11-18

Interesting growth pattern

Black Swallowtail Butterfly

Brown Thrasher

One of our favorite birds.

An amazing singer and year-round resident in the southeast.

They have the largest repertoire of songs of all North American birds, able to vocalize 3,000 distinct songs!

Pearl Crescent Butterfly

 Female Black-and-white Warbler

This species is the only member of its genus Mnitilta, which means “moss plucking."

They are unusually aggressive for a warbler.
