This Little Blue Heron was the only other heron we saw on this refuge other than Great Blue Herons and Great Egrets were the only egret we saw on the refuge.
Wood Ducks are always a treat to see (female is on the right).
Male Wood Ducks are one of the most handsome of all ducks.
Eastern Kingbird
These birds are highly aggressive toward nest predators and larger birds. Hawks and crows are attacked regularly.
