Leaving the Howard's dock this Snowy Egret glided by.
And what a good omen followed a minute or so later when we spied a Peregrine Falcon sitting on the balcony railing (on one leg) of a nearby apartment complex!
Approximately 180 American White Pelicans were resting on the west side of Tarpon Key
Several White Pelicans were also resting on the pilings on the north side of Indian Key.
They are winter visitors in our area
