BirdMobile at our Three Rivers Campsite
Three Rivers State Park (1955) is on Lake Seminole formed with the construction of the Jim Woodruff Dam in 1947. The Flint and Chattahoochee Rivers flow into Lake Seminole and below the dam the waters become the Apalachicola River. Pine and hardwood forests dominate the 686 acres of uplands found in this park. These woods of rolling hills and steep ravines are different from the natural communities found in south and central Florida parks.
