5-25-16 Delaware Water Gap National Recreation Area (PA)

Wednesday, May 25, 2016.  We traveled into New York via the Delaware Water Gap National Recreation Area in Pennsylvania.  We stopped at Dingmans Falls for a nice mile walk in the woods.  There were several beautiful waterfalls.  Though we saw only 3 bird species we were able to id seven others by their calls alone as they were well hidden among the full foliage in the trees of Spring.

Handsome Male Eastern Towhee

We like its "old" name of Rufous-sided Towhee as that seems much more descriptive.

Punography:  I know a guy who's addicted to brake fluid.  He says he can stop any time.
