Sunday, 5-7-17: Hillman Marsh Conservation Area, Ontario, Canada









Tree Swallows




By far the most common swallow we are seeing (several hundred each day)









 Large-leafed Trillium





Red Trillium



Garlic Mustard- an exotic invasive




Male Red-breasted Grosbeak (our first one on this entire trip)





Great Egret
 Breeding plumage with long aigrettes and green lores




The only egret species we have seen in Canada
